About Dr Judy

Dr Judy Moss is an accredited master life coach, trainer, facilitator and speaker, a nationally and internationally recognised specialist in her field. Dr Judy graduated with honours in Medicine from the University of New South Wales, in 1978. She ran a thriving medical practice for over 25 years, consulting as an integrative medical doctor, complementing her traditional medical practice with multi-disciplinary complementary medicine, counseling and life coaching.

During this time, she developed the 6 step solution to personal and professional success. Using her knowledge and experience, she determines the 'ingredients' required to  make beneficial lifestyle changes and thus optimise your healthy, happy, successful personal and professional life, from your very first session.

All success is based on a 6 step 'healthy life' formula 

1. Physical Health - physical health and well-being is the foundation of all life. When your physical health and well-being is strong, whole, balanced and complete, so is your life. When it is depleted, your life becomes unbalanced and disease follows.

2. Mental Health - what you believe is what you create. When you change your perceptions, you change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your choices. When you change your choices, your change your outcomes. When you change your outcomes, you change your life.

3. Emotional Health - your feelings are a compass. They are there to help you plot your life course. When you are feeling good, you and your life are on track. When you feel bad, it's a clear indication for you to make other choices and change direction. Happiness is a choice.

4. Spiritual Health - is a willingness to take responsibility for self and personal change. The world outside you is your mirror. You don't see the world the way it is, you see the world the way you are. It's all about how you see yourself... your self esteem, your self worth.

5. Metaphysical Health - whatever you imagine long and strong enough becomes your reality. All reality starts with an idea, many of which, formed in your childhood, become embedded in your unconscious. When what you imagine is 'healthy', all seems to go well and you feel in control of your life. When what you imagine is' unhealthy', your 'unconscious saboteur' ensures that little to nothing works in your favour.

6. Epigenetic Health - Epigenetics is the latest cutting-edge health and well-being technology. Ever expanding scientific research validates that your environment causes certain chemicals, called Epigenetic marks, to attach to your genes (segments of DNA = the blueprint for your body and life). These chemicals either activate, suppress and/or silence the expression of part or all of your genes, thereby 'unconsciously' determining your choices and your life.

A Choice of Coaching Programmes

There are a number of programmes, when it comes to creating a life coaching package. You may choose to work on one particular aspect of your life or current challenge or you may choose one or a combination of the more popular programme options below:

1. Confidence - Exploring where your confidence levels are at and finding new ways to increase them.

2. Motivation - Delving into what really motivates you to make things happen, and creating a strategy to ensure it’s lasting.

3. Self image - Figuring out who it is you think you are and comparing that to who you want to become. Sometimes a little shift in perspective does amazing things.

4. Goal setting and Strategic Mapping - Usually one to two sessions, uncovering what you really want. Brainstorming and creating smart strategies and easy step by step detailed action plans and goal worksheets to map out the highway to your goal.

5. Healthy relationships - Reviewing your current relationships, where they are working; how to pick up your game; what needs to change and how to make these changes happen. Equally how to get into a great relationship, build it and keep it thriving.

6. Communication skills - Working on specifics of how to communicate more effectively, using rapport building skills and body language. Some techniques will need polishing. Others will be completely new and really exciting to take home and work on.

7. Values alignment - Listing out your highest values, what values are currently being met in the different areas of your life, and ensuring all operate in synergy e.g. Family and Career.

8. Beliefs alignment - Starting with a belief check, we notice all the current beliefs you have, then work out systematically what’s working for you and which beliefs need to change in order for you to start seeing results.

9. Choosing career paths - We start with a brainstorming session, then work on the overlapping areas of skills and passion to identify realistic options. We then explore the possibilities in detail and get the ball rolling.

10. Time management - We look into what time management techniques you’re currently using, what’s working and what needs to change. Then together we create a new plan to ensure you are using your time wisely, creatively and energy efficiently to achieve maximum results.

11. Understanding your personality type - You complete an analysis which gives us an indication of your true and adapted personalities and your values. We optimise your known strengths, while identifying those that need a boost. Then we align your goals with your true self and values to ensure your success. 

12. Health and well-being – Dr Judy ensures you have seen the appropriate GP's, specialists, allied health and complementary medicine practitioners relevant to your health issues. She helps you stay focused and motivated, so you follow through on their suggested treatment programme and achieve the very best results.

To show the importance of teamwork, we can take examples from the lives of geese. 

Fact: As each goose flaps its wings, it creates an uplift for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock gains 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.

Lesson: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are travelling on the thrust of one another. 

Fact: When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of it.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as a goose we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give our help to others.

Fact: When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies to the point position. 

Lesson: It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each other's skill, capabilities, and unique arrangements of gifts, talents, and resources.

Fact: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up in front to keep up their speed.

Lesson: We need to make sure that our honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement, the production is much greater. The power of encouragement (to stand by one's core values, and to encourage the core values of others) is the quality of honking we seek.

Fact: When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.
